Roman Candles light from the top
So there I was standing on top of the tower, a steel skeleton structure that didn’t take all that long to climb so it probably wasn’t very high, trying to light a large Roman Candle that I had spent the better part of 5 minutes trying to get balanced in the holes of what was either an empty floodlight, or large calibre gun, mount. The two better than average looking girls that were selling the fireworks table to table at the outdoor restaurant attached to a fishmarket in Sokcho (석조), were looking on in what I can only assume must have been awe at my daring, and possible surprise as tried vainly to light the thing upside down.
